Built in a dorm room,
for dorm rooms.

DormTracker started as a school project — it's now used by real staff, every day.

Where it came from

Every week at boarding school, staff walk the dorms with clipboards — scoring rooms, scribbling notes, then going back to their desks to copy it all into a spreadsheet and email students one by one. It works, but just barely.

DormTracker was built to fix that. Starting at one school, the app replaced the clipboard with a phone form, the spreadsheet with a searchable dashboard, and the manual emails with an automated system that fires the moment a result is submitted.

What started as a solution for one school is now ready for any boarding school that wants to spend less time on admin and more time with students.

What DormTracker does

Works on any phone or laptop — no app needed

Inspectors open a form, select the dorm, score each room 1–5, add notes and photos. That's it.

Students and parents get emailed the moment a result is submitted

Fully customisable templates. No copy-pasting, no manual sends — it just happens.

Every result is saved — spot rooms that keep slipping

See trends by room, dorm, or week. Flag what needs attention, recognise what's improving.

Inspectors see only their dorm. Admins see everything.

One system with the right permissions for each person — no configuration needed beyond assigning a role.

Who it's for

DormTracker is built for boarding schools with a residential life program — from small independent schools with 50 students to larger campuses with several hundred. If your staff are currently using spreadsheets, paper forms, or nothing at all, DormTracker replaces all of that.

Setup takes under 10 minutes. Most schools are running live inspections on day one.
